Project Drake: All Offtake Agreements and EPC Contract Executed — Ohio Organic Nitrogen and RNG Facility Reaches Investment Ready Status

VERSAILLES, Ohio — June 2026. Ductor Americas, Inc. today announced that Project Drake, its flagship organic liquid nitrogen fertilizer and renewable natural gas (RNG) facility in Darke County, Ohio, has reached investment ready status. All major commercial agreements are executed, the EPC contract is in place, all discretionary permits have been received, and the project is shovel ready pending financial close.

With more than 85% of projected revenue under long term contract and an independent engineer report confirming the technical and financial base case, Project Drake stands as one of the most comprehensively derisked organic infrastructure assets currently seeking capital in the United States.

A Market Whose Time Has Come

The U.S. organic liquid nitrogen fertilizer market is growing at 9 to 10% annually. Despite this growth, domestic production capacity has remained negligible, leaving organic farmers and distributors dependent on a supply chain that is neither reliable nor price stable.

Project Drake addresses this directly. When the facility comes online in 2028, it will be the first in the United States to domestically produce scalable, certified organic liquid nitrogen fertilizer, converting 109,200 tons per year of locally sourced poultry manure into RNG, organic fertilizer, and solid fertilizer digestate. No import exposure. Predictable costs. 

The Agronomy Case: A Yield Gap Eliminated

In February 2026, Ductor published results from independent field trials conducted by The Ohio State University in 2025. The trials compared Ductor N, the company’s certified organic liquid nitrogen fertilizer, against commercial 28% UAN under identical nitrogen application rates at two Ohio research stations.

Under both optimal and drought stressed conditions, Ductor N matched conventional UAN in grain yield, grain moisture at harvest, and post harvest soil nitrogen. The results were statistically equivalent across all parameters. The historic yield penalty of 20 to 50% that has long discouraged organic conversion is eliminated.

The commercial market responded accordingly. Fertilizer demand from U.S. distributors already exceeds five times Drake’s initial production capacity. The constraint is manufacturing scale, not demand.

Key Milestones: All Major Development Workstreams Complete

Liquid Organic Fertilizer Offtake

A 5-year rolling evergreen offtake agreement for minimum 80% of the facility’s liquid organic nitrogen fertilizer output has been executed with a major U.S. agricultural inputs distributor operating nationwide. Demand from the broader distribution network already exceeds current planned production capacity.

RNG Offtake

A 10-year offtake agreement has been executed for the facility’s full renewable natural gas output of approx. 290,000 MMBtu per year. Drake’s RNG carries one of the most negative carbon intensity scores in the U.S. market, positioning it for participation in multiple premium environmental attribute markets.

Solid Fertilizer Digestate Offtake

More than 90% of the facility’s solid digestate output has been contracted under a five-year offtake agreement, which is an unusually high contracted share for a biogas facility and a further indication of market confidence in the project’s output quality.

Feedstock Supply

A 20-year feedstock supply agreement has been executed with Weaver Brothers, one of the top-15 egg producers in the United States and the largest in Darke County, Ohio, securing 100% of the facility’s required poultry manure input with backstop provisions.

EPC Contract: GHV Group

Ductor has executed an EPC agreement with GHV Group, a publicly listed industrial firm with an established track record in various sectors. The contract is structured on a guaranteed maximum price basis with cost reduction ambition, performance guarantees, liquidated damages, and a certain commercial operations date.

All Discretionary Permits Received

The Ohio Department of Agriculture Permit to Install and Operate was issued in November 2025. Ohio EPA air quality exemption has been confirmed. The project is shovel ready.
