DUCTOR´S TECNOLOGY HARNESSES THE POWER OF UNDERUTILIZED BIOMASS WITH HIGH NITROGEN CONTENT
DUCTOR® FERMENTATION TECHNOLOGY EXTRACTS NITROGEN AT AN EARLY STAGE AND PRIOR TO THE BIOGAS PRODUCTION
Video on Ductor Process
Ductor® fermentation technology prevents ammonia inhibition in biogas production.
This is done by adding one fermentation step, prior to biogas fermentation, as well as a nitrogen stripping unit. Ductor’s patented microbiological innovation eliminates the nitrogen dilemma by turning problem waste into profitable recyclable goods.
The technology can be applied to biogas plants of many different sizes, and unit operations do not require skills beyond normal biogas plant operations.
“It must be concluded that the Ductor process is able to stabilize the nitrogen concentration when using nitrogen rich substrates for anaerobic digestion.”
Fraunhofer UMSICHT, Joachim Krassowski
“Ductor development of technology for the recycling of ammonia and phosphorous is an excellent idea.”
Max Planck Institute, Prof. Marc Strous
“We have been very impressed with the technical capabilities and vision of the Ductor Team and believe that they represent what we believe to be a game changer for upgrading and new construction of anaerobic digestion facilities.” Bernard Sheff, PE, Vice President of Engineering for ES Engineering Services and Chairman of the American Biogas Council.
