Janne Mertanen Northern Sounds -piano concert Sponsored by Ductor
Finnish pianist Janne Mertanen performed at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) on October 2, 2017. Mertanen has become known particularly as a Chopin pianist and renowned interpreter of Finnish composers. His repertoire covers the Chopin´s piano music comprehensively. In 2015 Mertanen recorded all Sibelius’ piano works for Sony Classical label with great reviews. He is a full-time soloist and a Steinway-artist.
In Mertanen’s Asia tour in Singapore he performed music both by Finnish composers and Chopin. The concert was conducted in collaboration with SF100 Singapore and the Embassy and it was full house. There were circa 300 concert guests, including Ductor’s customers, partners and state representatives from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Bangladesh.
Janne Mertanen’s piano concert in Singapore was a great success – a musical journey the guests will remember for the rest of the life.
