Ductor, a biotechnological cleantech company based in Helsinki, is strengthening the organization abroad.
Ms. Jennifer Barber has been appointed as International Market Coordinator of Ductor, effective October 1, 2017.
Ms. Barber has extensive experience in developing renewable energy projects internationally, mostly focused on agricultural biomass. She directed the global development efforts of a UK based poultry litter to energy firm, HRE Services Ltd., from 2008 to 2012, during which time she identified projects suitable to available technology, led and coordinated comprehensive feasibility analyses, and facilitated international design teams tasked with harmonizing their various areas of expertise. Prior to entering the renewable energy sector, she served in various other international development roles, including as Project Officer for the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission at UNESCO, where she worked largely on climate change issues.
Jennifer holds a Master’s degree in international ocean policy and undergraduate degrees in anthropology and physics.
At Ductor, she will lead the development and strategic growth of Ductor Corporation in U.S., Canada and South America. She will also be part of Ductor’s European team. Jennifer will report to Mr. Ari Ketola, the CEO of Ductor.
